Did you know that it is illegal to burn anything man made? Yes, this includes paper, newspaper, and old bills. Burning any solid waste/household trash in the state of Arkansas is illegal. If you see any illegal burning in Saline County call our anonymous tip line at 501-778-2222 and leave the address of the location.

Solid waste or any materials that are dumped in any area of the county is ILLEGAL. If you are caught dumping your materials, you will be responsible for clean-up and could receive a fine. If you see any illegal dumping report it to the Recycle Saline anonymous tip line at 501-778-2222.

Coupons for 2018 will be available on Tuesday, Jan 2, 2018 and expire Nov 30, 2018.

The last day to purchase 2018 Coupons is November 21, 2018 at 12:00pm. 

Required Items

• Current Trash Bill
• Drivers License/State ID with current Saline County Address
• $10 - CASH ONLY (you will receive 2 coupons, which is your maximum allowed for the year)

Limits

*Limit of 2 landfill coupons per year per Saline County Household

*The person picking up the coupons must be present when dropping off their load(s) at the landfill.

*Coupons are non-refundable and non-transferable: they cannot be used in subsequent years.

* Each coupon is good for 1 load; a load consists of a back end of a truck or a trailer full of items. If both are full when you go to the landfill, you will be required to turn in both coupons. Otherwise, if one area is full and not the other, just one coupon is required.

Process

• Pickup coupons at Recycle Saline, 114 W Sevier St, Benton, AR; between the hours of 8AM and 4PM, Monday through Friday. Don't forget to bring the 3 required items (see above).
• Present at Landfill upon entry at scalehouse/gate.
• Note: The person picking up coupons must be present when dropping off materials at the landfill.

Donate

Paint that is still usable can be donated to Habitat for Humanity Re-Store ; address is: 124 S Market Street, Benton.

Dispose

Dispose of old, unusable paint at a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Event.

Saline County residents can take up to four (4) passenger car tires per person to the Landfill for FREE each month.

• All tires must be off the rim
• The tire program is for Saline County residents.
• Businesses whom have tires to dispose of will need to contact the District office at: (501) 776-2533.

A.C.A. 8-6-407 Refused Hauling by Uncovered Vehicles

Any materials that are being transported to the landfill must be tarped or tied down so that nothing falls out or flies out.

A.C.A. 8-6-721 Licensing Haulers of Solid Waste

Solid Waste Hauling businesses must be licensed by the Saline County Solid Waste District.

Yard Debris is: clean brush, grass clippings, leaves, and/or limbs 4 inches or less in diameter. Yard debris drop off is free of charge for Saline County residents to take to the Landfill.

• Do NOT mix with trash.
• Yard Debris will need to be taken out of bags.
• Limbs cannot be larger than 4 inches in diameter.
• The yard debris program is not for businesses.
