Electronics can be dropped off at Recycle Saline on Tuesday's & Thursday's from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

We will no longer have drop off events at Bishop Park or at the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store.

Recycle Saline is excited to announce the new partnership with CTS Services, Inc. implementing a Household Hazardous Waste Program. This will allow for Saline County residential households to drop off HHW four times a year for $10 per coupon.

How the program will work:

• Coupon will be purchased at the Recycle Saline office for $10 per coupon.
• Bring Driver’s License/State ID with current Saline County Address. If your ID doesn’t have a current address you can show a current bill with current address.
• The person picking up the coupon must be present when dropping off at the CTS Facility
• Redeem the coupon at the CTS Facility located at 1218 River St., Benton with your materials on any of the listed event dates.
• You can purchase a max of 4 coupons per household/per year
• Coupons are non-refundable & non-transferable; coupons can’t be used in subsequent years
• Each coupon is good for 1 load of the approved items listed below.

Items Accepted with Coupon:

• paint & paint thinners oil/water based (Maximum 5 gallons per vehicle)
• Oil/Fuel (Maximum 5 gallons per vehicle)
• Anti-Freeze (Maximum 5 gallons per vehicle)
• Pool Chemicals
• Household Cleaning Chemicals
• Fertilizers, Herbicides & Pesticides
• Automobile Cleaning Supplies
• Aerosol Cans

Anything over the maximum amount the individual will be responsible for the additional cost paid to CTS at the time of disposal. Your cost will be $.60 per pound/plus tax.

Items not included in the coupon and will need to be paid to CTS at time of disposal:

• Small Propane cylinders $3.00 each
• Large BBQ Propane cylinders $10.00 each
• Mercury containing Fluorescent Bulbs $.12 per foot

Required Items

• Current Trash Bill
• Drivers License/State ID with current Saline County Address
• $10 - Cash or Card (you will receive 2 coupons, which is your maximum allowed for the year)

Limits

*Limit of 2 landfill coupons per year per Saline County Household

*The person picking up the coupons must be present when dropping off their load(s) at the landfill.

*Coupons are non-refundable and non-transferable: they cannot be used in subsequent years.

* Each coupon is good for 1 load; a load consists of a back end of a truck or a trailer full of items. If both are full when you go to the landfill, you will be required to turn in both coupons. Otherwise, if one area is full and not the other, just one coupon is required.

 * Landfill coupons can't be used for yard waste disposal.

Process

• Pickup coupons at Recycle Saline, 520 Edison Ave., Benton, AR; between the hours of 8AM and 4PM, Monday through Friday. Don't forget to bring the 3 required items (see above).
• Present at Landfill upon entry at scalehouse/gate.
• Note: The person picking up coupons must be present when dropping off materials at the landfill.
